Engineering guide native review — 2026-09-06
Actual Windows AB6ECD62 GUI, isolated process2540. Built-in guide displayed18topics at1440x900 and1100x700. Search, topic list and independently scrollable article remained readable; steps wrapped within the article panel, and all nine main page actions were visible at minimum width. This is scoped navigation/layout evidence, not a completed review of every article or every described workflow.
Searched scenario:9matchingtopics. Selected Scenarios & alternatives, which cleared the query and opened its heading. Scrolled the full article through message/lifeline creation, Call+correlatedReply, canvas Drawmessage/reorder gestures, ALT/PAR/LOOP/OPT, explicit destination operands, scenario reuse, execution-boundary explanation and related links. Text/step numbers stayed within the article panel at1100x700.
Found a navigation defect: from the bottom of Scenarios, clicked related Exchanges & dataflow. Sidebar selection updated but new article retained prior scroll offset and opened at its category tail/related links, skipping its heading and introduction. Assigned focused topic-scroll correction to behavior_review after the frozen Windows diagnostic build chain. Corrected binary/native retest is pending.
No-match search zzznomatch produced0topics with a clear explanation and Clearsearch action. Clearsearch restored18topics and the Exchange article at its heading. This empty/recovery state passed. FirstProject step06 still says Saveproject while current top bar says Saveall; minor wording correction is recorded separately. Guide actions did not dirty the saved model.
Corrected binary native recheck

At1100x700, moved from the bottom of Scenarios & alternatives through its related Exchanges & dataflow link: the new article opened at its heading/introduction. Scrolled Exchanges to the bottom, then searched exchange:10matches, current article and exact bottom position retained. Replaced query with Git:4matches, automatically selected Build your first model and opened at its heading. These observed transitions pass the reported regression and both search cases. No model dirty marker appeared. FirstProject step06 Saveall wording was also observed at1440x900 before this minimum-size recheck. Three focused navigation tests, strict workspace/all-target Clippy and GUI/server build passed in .local/guide-navigation-{tests,clippy,build}.log. This is scoped guide acceptance; it does not claim every article's described engineering workflow was executed.
