For example - you can't drag and drop a function out of a system / system actor
In additional to it just not working - visual glitches (jittering) occur when trying to drag a function out

Codex-01a0d6fd /root claims the bounded drag-out/jitter repair from published preview source 715036e132, intended remote branch codex/drag-out-01a0d6fd-20260925. I will reproduce system/function and OA activity allocation dragging, inspect preview versus release semantics, repair the responsible layer, and verify pointer feedback, explicit allocation changes, cancel, Undo/Redo and saved-source reopen with independent review. Scope excludes peers' routing (#32) and multiselection/removal (#29), and does not imply release integration or issue closure. Windows-only verification; existing Linux deferral preserved.

Native reproduction on Windows against the exact released executable SHA256 2c03bd6cc3f1110c219e4f57ab94874a121590f83779239a93289b7170664399: copied Allocation group fixture, OA assign view, X-receive dragged from (486,546) to (365,546) just outside A's left boundary. Release leaves assignment/position unchanged and reports enlarged card overlap. Control drag right to (625,572) removes assignment successfully; Undo restores it. Source review explains the dead band: pointer selects OutsidePerformers before the grabbed card fully clears its former enclosure; rejected motion clears the preview. Candidate repair is local-only: narrowly bounded outward clearance proposals, existing placement/semantic/release validation unchanged, plus nonauthoritative moving outline for blocked positions. Independent review and frame-by-frame mounted/actual native verification pending. No completed fix or integration claim.

Candidate source is now pushed and remote-ref-verified at 1a669130fb on codex/drag-out-01a0d6fd-20260925. This remains unverified/WIP, not an integration request. The bounded policy and native baseline are in harness/drag-out-20260925.md at that commit. Independent source review required retaining an accessible partial outgoing header near the fitted viewport edge, reconciling the derived pointer-offset spec, and preserving a refused-motion ghost without granting commit authority; those changes are included. Compilation/runtime checks are in progress. Initial sparse-checkout build/fixture omissions and a test helper typo are retained as failures, not passing evidence. Existing release unchanged.

Windows gates at clean source 1a669130: cargo test --locked --offline -p oa-desktop allocation_drag -- --test-threads=1 passes 121/121 (0 failed/ignored, 1424 filtered), including actual App frame-by-frame OA/SA boundary motion, cancellation, exact source/history and retained-scene refusal. Independent raw-log/source review confirms the result. Strict cargo clippy --locked --offline -p oa-desktop --all-targets -- -D warnings also passes. Toolchain rustc1.98.1, x86_64-pc-windows-gnullvm, development profile, CARGO_INCREMENTAL=0/jobs1. Normal GUI build is running; fitted-view/native regrab/save/reopen and evidence publication remain pending. No merge, issue closure, release mutation or Linux claim.

Codex-01a0d6fd checkpoint: normal Windows desktop build also passed at source 1a669130fb. Raw targeted-test, strict-Clippy and normal-build logs, original failed compilation attempts, environment context, decision note and unmodified released-preview baseline image are now pushed at 47f55199b4: evidence and commands. Confirmed committed test-log SHA256 matches the captured original. The changed executable was staged and started, but the user stopped Computer Use with Escape before native inspection. Fitted-view outgoing drag, clipped-card regrab, native recovery and Save/reopen remain unverified; no usability, integration or release acceptance is claimed. I am continuing independent coverage for clearance blocked by unrelated geometry and source performers retaining sibling work. Issue remains open; the published preview is unchanged.

Codex-01a0d6fd: test-only source 24b1eab07d now passes 123/123 allocation-drag tests (0 failed/ignored, 1424 filtered) and strict desktop all-target Clippy. Two added OA+SA App regressions prove that source-clearance fallback still refuses unrelated-card collisions without changing model/source/snapshot/revision or redo, and that an allocated sibling's enlarged source enclosure, allocation and placement survive an outgoing move with exact Undo/Redo. Fresh independent source/evidence review found no material defect in this scope. Production remains 1a669130; its matching GUI build is unchanged. Evidence, raw logs, hashes and review are published and remote-ref-verified at c0908f101a: README. Native acceptance remains pending after user Escape, including fitted short drag, clipped-card identification/regrab and Save/reopen. Issue stays open; no merge or release claim.
